Experience the traditional Japanese comedy known as "Rakugo," comedic storytelling. Stories include topics such as flowers, noodles, money and Samurai. All ages are invited to come and share some laughs while learning about Japanese culture...in English!!
Showto (Laughing Man) He volunteers at nursing homes and international exchange associations, sharing the joy of rakugo in both English and Japanese under the theme "Listen, Laugh, Imitate, and Be Energized." Before COVID-19, he continued this work for about 10 years, visiting universities, elementary and junior high schools in Ohio. He runs the "English Rakugo Dojo Nigiwaitei" and is also a member of the English Rakugo Club and the Ofuku Yose.
